Physiotherapy

Supporting Movement, Independence and Participation for Every Ability

Our paediatric physiotherapists support children of all abilities to move, play and participate in everyday life with confidence. We have extensive experience working with children with neurological, genetic and developmental conditions, physical disabilities and complex support needs, alongside children with orthopaedic and gross motor challenges.

Physiotherapy at CK4KIDS focuses on helping children reach meaningful functional goals, whether that is sitting, standing, walking, running, transferring, accessing equipment or participating in play and school activities. We work closely with families to ensure therapy is practical, empowering and tailored to each child’s unique journey.

What we help with

We support children with cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, neuromuscular disorders, global developmental delay, movement disorders, low muscle tone and coordination difficulties. Our team also provides early intervention for infants and toddlers, ongoing disability management, gait training, casting, mobility equipment prescription and long term functional support as children grow.

What sessions look like

Physiotherapy sessions are play based, goal driven and adapted to each child’s abilities. Therapy may include strength and balance activities, gait training, functional play, equipment use, positioning and caregiver education. Sessions are designed to be engaging and motivating while supporting meaningful progress both in the clinic and at home.

Who it’s for

Babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children, including those requiring ongoing disability support.

Funding

Private, NDIS self managed and plan managed, Medicare plans and private health rebates where applicable.
